Here is a sample 10-day itinerary for Costa Rica:
Day 1:
- Arrive in San Jose
- Check into your hotel
- Explore the city and visit the National Museum and Central Market
Day 2:
- Drive to La Fortuna and visit the Arenal Volcano National Park
- Take a dip in the hot springs and relax
- Check into your hotel near the volcano
Day 3:
- Take a guided hike in the park to see the volcano up close
- Visit the La Fortuna Waterfall
- Enjoy a traditional Costa Rican meal in town
Day 4:
- Drive to the Guanacaste region and check into your hotel
- Visit the Rincon de la Vieja National Park for a day of hiking and exploring
- Relax in the natural hot springs in the park
Day 5:
- Take a boat tour to Isla Tortuga for a day of snorkeling and beach relaxation
- Return to your hotel in Guanacaste
